A Naples residence is getting a face lift to provide homeless veterans with a new lease on life.
Wounded Warriors of Collier County, a nonprofit to help local veterans adjust to civilian life, has leased a residence in the city of Naples to provide a transitional home to a handful of homeless veterans. A four-bedroom, two-bath home at 1361 Fifth Ave. N. in the River Park neighborhood should be ready for occupancy Dec. 21, said Dale Mullin, president of Wounded Warriors. “Our goal is to open just before Christmas,” he said, adding that an open house for volunteers and businesses that have helped make it a reality will be held a week before the occupancy.
