Check out this David Lawrence Center video featuring Tom Collins, PhD, Wounded Warriors of Collier County board member, speaking about the collaboration between David Lawrence Center and WWCC in helping our Veterans!
Approximately 28,000 veterans reside in Collier County. These men and women, who selflessly served us through their efforts in our armed forces, may face significant issues upon their return to civilian life. Many struggle to find suitable work, housing, healthcare, and emotional support as they re-enter non-military life.
Wounded Warriors of Collier County is a stand-alone non-profit founded in 2010 by retired business executive and Army Vietnam veteran, Dale Mullin. His organization looks to meet the needs of these heroes as they once again become our neighbors. Specifically working within the Veterans’ system of care, Wounded Warriors seeks to provide assistance with housing, mental health care, educational support and other services, all while navigating our challenging landscape of lack of affordable housing, rising healthcare costs and complex government systems.
We invite you to join us at 4 p.m. on November 14, as we host Dale and to hear how he and his team create solutions to help our most special citizens. This program may be attended in person or virtually via Zoom using the logon information below:
